A Rated Recovery Towbar
The Suzuki Jimny X-Bar (11/2018 on) has a towing capacity of 1300kg with a ball weight of 75kg. The X-Bar is rated for a 5 tonne bridled recovery utilising the 2 two rated 2.5 tonne side recovery points. Whenever you are recovering a vehicle that’s stuck always make sure you use a rated recovery point as using other methods may cause damage or injury. The X-Bar also has a number of features beneficial to offroad travelling designed to suit your vehicle including, single protected trailer socket mount point, SmartPin™ hitch pin, premium eCoat & powder-coat finish and rated D-shackles.
Superior Construction
The X-Bar is designed to maximise towing ability and allow you to safely recover your or a mates vehicle. The X-Bar Recovery Towbar includes increased thickness sidearm and custom forged 700-grade steel recovery points and towball mount. The X-Bar has been designed using advanced FEA (Finite Element Analysis) technology and tested to Australian Standards AS/4177 and ADR 62/02 in a dedicated NATA accredited Laboratory at Hayman Reese’s Melbourne Production Facility for both towing strength and recovery ability. Born from a need for; improved departure angles, maximum tow ratings and rear recovery points, the X-Bar is equipped to handle any off-road situation.
With a tow capacity of 1300kg and a ball weight of 75kg the X-Bar is designed specifically for vehicle recovery with 2 rated rear recovery points (2 sides 2,500kg each, and a bridled recovery capacity of 5,000kg). The X-Bar has improved departure angles and protected trailer plug mounting for travelling off-road.
